Media Make-up Academy/Chicago School of Make Up began in 2009 after I realized the tremendous need for professional make up artistry training in the Midwest-especially the Chicago area. Typically students have to travel to NY and LA where classes become very expensive. Although there are a handful of places in Chicago to take classes -none are taught by an instructor with high end experience in the fashion/print industry.
If you would like to learn the basics to becoming a professional make-up artist as well as have guidance in how to build your portfolio,approach photographers and agencies and eventually work with fashion magazines,catalogues and advertisers-this is a perfect course for you.
It is so important to have a great up to date base training in this competitive industry. You will learn all the techniques you need to know in order to get you started in the right direction. I have been there!!!! I can guide and teach you.
Classes are held in my 2000 square foot loft .

NYC SCHOOL
Media Make-up Academy/NY School of Make Up opened in the Summer of 2010. Although there are other schools in NYC-no one else offers a 40 hour intensive certificate course .
The school is located at 88 Lexington Avenue on the corner of 26th Street within easy access of the subway.
