Unlike Hair Stylists and Estheticians, Make Up
artists do not need to be certified by the state to work in the industry.
Certificates are awarded to each student at the end of your course as proof you have completed professional make up training. They are also needed to apply for professional make up artists industry cards (i.e. MAC, BobbyBrown, NARS, Kiehls, Dermologica etc) Certificates are not awarded by the State, they are given by the school.

Please call the school if you have any questions and I can go over everything with you.
