Make Up 101 was designed to teach students the  important basics in makeup. Having an amazing core training and choosing a successful artist to learn from are the two most important choices you will make for your career. I’ve created my 101 class to get students certified quickly and affordably with 2 demos and 2 practice sessions per day and a real photo shoot on the last day.
 
Day 1: Basic skin care, skin types and sun kissed makeup
Introduction to your make up brushes & make up kit
Cleaning and sanitizing your brushes 
Mixing and applying foundation for all skin types and colors
Corrective skin techniques- Broken capillaries,patchy skin,redness etc
Concealing under eye circles
Practice applying foundation, concealer & powder on each other
Afternoon:
Sun Kissed/Beachy makeup  look demo
Glowing skin, soft shiny eyes, bronzed face
Students recreate the look on each other
Day 2:  Bridal makeup look demo
Tips and talk about everything Bridal
How to create your business, promote yourself & get clients
Introducing lash application, new products , techniques & waterproofing makeup
Afternoon:
Glamorous Event MakeUp
This is a continuation of our morning look bringing it up to the next level
Emphasis on contouring the eyes and face
Talk on different eye shapes and face shapes for highlighting and contouring
Students recreate the look on each other
Day 3: Vintage Makeup demo
The history of makeup throughout the 20 th century
Looks from the 1920's,1940's, 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1980's  to today 
Learning a perfect cat eye and bold unmovable lip
Students recreate the look on each other
Afternoon:
Creating a super smokey eye 
Layering makeup techniques, eye contouring & lashes
Students recreate the look on each other
Day 4: The Fashion Industry
How to break into the fashion industry and work on magazines and TV
Sources on how to keep current on trends and new makeup must haves
5 minute refresh on anything students want to go over
Practice: Students become clients and choose the look they want their artist to recreate. Artists do a trial consult and work on each other.
Afternoon:
Continuation of the morning with clients requesting a stronger/ high fashion look.
Students create and work on each other
Day 5: Photo Shoot Day !!
Learn on set etiquette
How to work with a photographer and model on a professional job
Students do 2 looks of their choice on their models for their portfolios and cards
Certificates are awarded
